STUDIO 1 is a full service analogue and digital studio capable of handling the most demanding of sessions. The studio is owned and operated by engineer and producer Simon Berckelman and features a big, sun-drenched control room and a great large booth, big enough for all kinds of overdubs. The studio is modular in that it can be hired as a smaller mix/overdub space OR with the live room attached for tracking sessions.

The studio is a fantastic mixing and recording environment and has been tweaked to offer awesome mix translation as well as enough life to make writing and playing still fun. Simon has carefully built up a unique and extremely complimentary collection of analogue and digital equipment ranging from the obscure to the classics, the 50s through to the modern day. Vintage Neve, Quad Eight, API, Electrodyne, Neotek, and UREI are fed by an impressive new and old mic collection into analogue machines by Studer and MCI and/or Protools HD.

We are interested in and love to be involved with all kinds of sounds and artists from the underground all the way to the poppest of the pop. Get in touch for a studio viewing.
